Brainfund
Brainfund is a program launched to support Estonian veterinarians in receiving further veterinary or pharmaceutical training and attending refresher courses. The aim of Brainfund is to further veterinary medicine development in Estonia.
In 2022, the size of Brainfund is 16,255 euros. It is divided into four categories:
- Financial support for attending FECAVA yearly conference;
- Dimedium Winter Academy for veterinarians;
- Summer Academy for veterinarians (organized by the Estonian University of Life Sciences and Dimedium);
- Support for attending veterinary or pharmaceutical events organized by various associations and organizations.
Brainfund applications are open to all Estonian veterinarians. To apply, it is necessary to present the event's participation fee and/or expected accommodation and transportation costs. We ask all Brainfund applications to be sent to ajufond@dimedium.ee.
Applications are reviewed at the end of each quarter: March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 30. The decision to grant support is made by Dimedium committee.
Granting Brainfund support is not associated with purchases from Dimedium.
